Amp Fiddler's new album is out!
Ex-parliament member, detroit soul crooner and Moodymann collaborator, Amp Fiddler, has come out with his second album, "Afro-Strut". The follow-on album from "Waltz of a Ghetto Fly" has been creeping up on us since April when the inital limited 1000 albums hit the UK shelves.With the likes of Only Child and Paul Randolph featuring on this its sure to get some serious playtime!! Soul, funk and house all blended in a fiddler way.
Check "Dope" and "Right where you are". Expect massive remix treatment on this album.

J'ai eu le privilège d'écouter AFRO STRUT...c'est une petite merveille, AMP avec sa voix sensuelle nous fait passez par toutes les émotions funk, jazzy, dance hall, soul...cet album est tout simplement divin.

i like amp fiddler. The way he uses eletric keyboards is cool. especially the wurlitzer ep. Nice retro sounds but in a deep live setting. For this guy and d'angelo lovers listen to the afrobeat chronicles vol 2 by Ayetoro.http://www.juno.co.uk/products/223828-01.htm
Picked up a double vinyl copy from soul jazz records . It is some serious groovy jazzy stuff.
